Wet Season has started in Bali but that does not stop people surfing or enjoying the outdoors. Even in Wet Season there is a positive spin to the weather. The extreme humidity of November is somewhat toned down in December as the frequent showers cool the Island down. The rain can be very heavy but it only last 30 or so minutes and you can therefore time when you can escape a shower. Care must be taken when on a scooter or bike. The end of December is also the end of the year and that means party time. It is also the Christmas time so spirits are high, people from all over the word just want to have a great time. Hotel prices are high as is hotel occupancy, traffic can be heavy and if you want to goto your favorite restaurant make sure to prebook as they might be full house.
